Sculptural installation
Occupy the floor on a 4 m length
6 circular elements with variable diameter between 50 and 25cm and a height of 55 and 15cm.
Wool and wire

There are floating see anemones the figures of the installation “Attinie”. There are like heads resembling dunes in the desert. Women’s as ghost emerging from the earth. This is a feminine portrait, a scale of generation who draw the time.
As music notes of different dimension, height and tones, six heads full of hair, are overwhelming the space with his ethereal presence like in a old picture.
The idea became from a thought on the family theme and the women issue. The femininity of the language is in contrast with the form that is more masculine. The work is express in his patience and repetitive character by constructing the hair with wool, a worm material, healing and organic, which declares a reflection on the idea of evolution.
As Indian mandalas the sculptures gained form trough a slow and reflexive process where the time is perpetuate in the flow of the material surface. The figures became abstract and create a light and emotional atmosphere. The wool yarn, cut and re cut is waving together a soft sculpture mass. These pieces became three-dimensional drawings, impalpable and seductive; a dream state landscape made by strong colors and organics connotations.
In this phase of my work which I called reconstruction I’m expressing the relation with the origin and the maternal trough his symbolism. I choose to improve other materials connected with ceramic like the earth because I found a strong meaning to include in the whole sense of my work.

This is an installation proposal made of 24 tits dislocated as islands on the ground floor. The are made in plastic in different dimension and resamble a chirurgical prosthesis stuffed with earth. The idea is to evocate the nutrition that comes from breast and from the mother earth, to stimulate that primordial experience of being nitrified and trough this image that also express solitude and selfishness find a suggestion to encompass the relation with the earth.

30 cm diameter
plastic, wool and nylon fabric
“Umbilicus” it means belly bottom in Latin, Is a tie knot in a perfectly rounded form made with a twist fabric.
Our origin came from the umbilical cord connected to the mother; our nutrition is possible through this body part, which leaves a mark of the uterine life on us.
The intention is to evocate the experience because of his powerful relation with the natural world, to underline our origin that cannot be renounced.
The result is an iconic image like a hypnotic point positioned in the middle of an empty wall as a symbol of life. This is a work linked to the idea of nutrition, mystery and faith.

4 m lenght - 150cm x 120
Earth, plastic and wool
Nutrition facts represents an ill intestine made of earth, an antropological material now stifled in a plastic textile and patched in some parts with worm coloured wool. The intestine as the digestive part of our body that permits the uptake of the nutritional substance, but also as the center of intuition and sensibility which assorbs not only the dietary fibres. The intention of this work is to reconnect our body with the terrain which orders the natural equilibrium of the human. It's an umbilical cord linked to the natural, to the transitory, to the digestible and to the excritable which became earth and generates nutrition. This piece is about the human dualism as part of a unity.
